How publication and review work at SEOwriters
Last updated: November 3, 2026
SEOwriters plans, writes and publishes articles on your website. You are the publisher: it is your website, your name and your responsibility. We provide the tool: the planning, the writing, the checks and the record-keeping. On this page you can read who does what and what you can expect.
The plan
We do not write stand-alone blogs. First we look at which pages on your site matter for your business: a service, a product, a category. We call those your pillars, at most five. Around them we build clusters of articles that each answer one search question and link to your pillar. Which keywords belong together, we read from what Google itself shows. We finish one pillar at a time and update existing pages when they are already close to page one. You confirm the plan before we start, and you can add or remove pillars.
Who does what
| Stage | SEOwriters | You |
|---|---|---|
| Plan | proposes pillars and clusters based on your site, your competitors and Search Console | confirm the plan or tell us what you want differently |
| Writing | writes each article with AI, based on your customer facts and reliable sources | provide the facts about your business and keep them up to date |
| Before publication | automatically checks each article for sources, contradicted facts, copying and your customer facts | nothing, unless you choose "read first" |
| Publication | in the first month as a draft (you read and release); after that automatically at the scheduled moment, with the author underneath | designate authors and a responsible editor; read along in the first month |
| After publication | has each article checked within 24 hours by a second, independent AI model; a finding reaches us and a person corrects it or takes it offline | review within 7 days what has appeared on your site, yourself or through the author |
| Record-keeping | records every published version with author, moment, a fingerprint of the text and the outcome of the checks |
Read first, then automatic
In the first month after connecting, we prepare every article for you as a draft. You read it, and publish or release it. That way we see together whether the tone, the facts and the topics are right. After that you choose: publish automatically (an article that passes our checks goes live at the scheduled moment) or keep reading first. You can always switch.
The check after publication
Every article is checked within 24 hours of publication by an AI model other than the model that wrote it. That model looks up sources itself and checks whether facts are correct, whether the sources exist and support the claim, whether what is said about your business matches your customer facts, and whether an article about health, money, law or safety stays within the limits of general information. If it finds something, we receive a notification and correct the article or take it offline until it is right. If we take an article offline, we email you. In addition, at least every month we re-read a sample to measure how well the check works.
To be honest: no check finds everything. That is why we ask you to look within 7 days at what appears on your site. If you see something that is not right, email us: we remove an article within one business day and make a correction within two business days.
Authors
Google recommends making clear who created content and where readers can find out more about that person. That is why every article has an author underneath, with their own author page on your site. An author is always a real person who personally consents to this and declares that they stand behind the text. An author does not automatically lead to a higher position in Google; it does help Google and your readers understand who is behind it. If you do not (yet) have an author, we publish under "The editors of" followed by the name of your website. For topics about health, money, law or safety, we strongly recommend an author with demonstrable knowledge of the subject.
The facts about your business
AI likes to write things that sound logical but are not true for your business: a free measuring service you do not have, a guarantee you do not give, a size you do not supply. That is why we ask you to provide the facts about your business, and above all what you do not do. We write with those facts and check every article against them.
What you can expect
We do not promise clicks or revenue. What we do: measure verifiable intermediate steps and intervene when they fall behind.
| Moment | What you can expect | When we intervene |
|---|---|---|
| 3 months | 85 to 100% of articles indexed; at least 70% have impressions in Google; first positions 11 to 30 on the easiest keywords | indexing below 75%, or fewer than half with impressions |
| 6 months | 90% indexed; 80% with impressions; first top-10 positions on low-competition keywords; half of the articles older than 90 days in the top 20 | not a single top 10 in the easiest group; less than a quarter in the top 20 |
| 12 months | 95% indexed; a quarter of the mature articles in the top 10; your pillar page in the top 20 for low to medium competition | pillar outside the top 50; less than 10% in the top 10 |

These figures are starting values from our method, not a guarantee. Google gives no timeline. You can see the measurement per pillar and cluster in your dashboard.
AI and the law
Since August 2, 2026, Article 50 of the European AI Act applies. Texts made with AI that inform the public on matters of public interest must be disclosed as such, unless a person reviews them and someone bears editorial responsibility. At SEOwriters, you are the publisher: you designate a responsible editor, you review your articles, and every article has its author underneath. That is why by default we do not place a visible AI notice on your site. If you do want one, we will enable it for you. We do add an invisible, machine-readable marking in the code of the page, as the law requires of providers of AI systems.
